4th Annual Dog Days of Summer Returns to Arvidson Pools & Spas
Arvidson Pools & Spas is hosting the 4th Annual Dog Days of Summer promotion throughout the month of August as a way to raise funds for several local animal rescue/shelter organizations.
Each Arvidson location is partnering with a local shelter:
- Crystal Lake is partnering with Animal House Shelter
- Charles is partnering with Starfish Rescue
- Palatine is partnering with Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue
“Many of our customers and employees are animal lovers,” said Retail Division Manager, Nadine Nuzzo. “Over the past three years, our customers have helped us raise nearly $4,500 for the shelters. Not only that, but our adoption events have placed several shelter pets in loving homes,” she said.
Buy a Hot Tub, Help a Shelter
For every hot tub or swim spa sold during the month of August, we donate $50 to our shelter/rescue partners.
If you are an animal lover and are also ready to improve your life with water therapy, this is the month to buy! Not only are you bringing rejuvenation and renewal into your daily life, but you also help keep endangered pets safe from harm.
In addition to these donations, anyone visiting our stores in August can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win an I LOVE MY DOG Raffle Basket filled with an array of dog supplies, treats, and services. Tickets are $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, and $10 for 15 tickets. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the shelters, and the winner will be drawn on Saturday, September 1.
Adopt a New Family Friend at Arvidson’s
This year’s pet adoptions are Saturday, August 18, from 12-3 pm, at each of our stores in Crystal Lake, Palatine, and St. Charles. Are you ready for a new dog? Come in and meet your new forever friend!
Other Ways to Help Our Furry Friends
Animal shelters are always in need of supplies! During August, bring in the following items and we will make sure that they are delivered to the animal shelters:
- Towels (these can be used)
- Pet crates
- Collars and leashes
- Pet toys
- Pet treats
- Bleach
- Paper towels
- Gas cards for animal transports.
Arvidson Pools & Spas is offering a coupon available through the shelters, our Facebook page, and customer emails. Bring these coupons with you when you shop at our stores and we’ll donate 10% of all purchases made to the shelters. (Hot tubs, saunas, pools, and service work are excluded from this offer.)
“We’re confident that the combination of these offers/opportunities will significantly benefit our local animal shelters/rescues. Come out and help us make a difference for all of our four-legged friends this month,” Nuzzo said.
