Arvidson Pools & Spas Earns Top 50 Pool Builder Award!
Arvidson Pools & Spas is pleased to announce their induction into the Top 50 Pool Builder list for the third year in a row!
This annual program, run by industry trade publication Pool & Spa News, included entrants from around the country who were judged on earnings, management and training skills, industry involvement, web presence and community service demonstrated in 2019.
Editor, Rebecca Robledo, writes “This year has given us a firsthand look at how life can change in an instant. This was as the COVID-19 crisis went from distant, abstract possibility to harsh reality in a matter of days. But we also know that certain principles and qualities remain constant in their ability to carry companies to success. And those are the values we celebrate in our Top 50 Builders.”
Service Manager, Peter Annis, Receives MVP Recognition
Arvidson Pools & Spas was one of only two midwestern inductees and the only company selected from the state of Illinois.
Each company had an opportunity to recognize a single employee as the MVP ,and Arvidson selected Service Manager, Peter Annis.
In submitting the application, Arvidson President, Dennis Marunde, shared this: “An important differentiator for our construction division is being able to assure potential pool owners we are available to support their after-install needs. After 62 years in business, we have many pool and hot tub owners turn to us for support year after year. The task of coordinating all these requests in a reasonably short period of time, and ensuring that resources are available to our service team to perform this work is no small task. In fact, at Arvidson, the Service Manager position is truly one of the most complex, and sometimes the most thankless, of jobs. 2020 marks the 15th year of Peter’s role as Service Manager at Arvidson. During that entire time he has overseen the transition from a manual to nearly fully digital record-keeping system, nurtured and supported a growing team of ever-improving service technicians and provided the company with 15 years of interrupted Service Division profits.”
