Arvidson Stores Recognized by Industry

What a great way to start 2020!  We are honored to share some great news with our customers and our community.  Arvidson stores are recognized this year by industry!

During recent industry events, Arvidson Pools & Spas received the following awards:

Midwest APSP 2019 Retail Excellence Award

Each of our stores in Crystal Lake, Palatine, and St. Charles received this award. It was open to swimming pool and hot tub companies in 14 states across the midwest.  the APSP judged companies on:

• Their Google review scores

• Employee training procedures

• Community involvement

• Ease of use on the website, and more

“A positive customer experience is the foundation of everything we do,” said Dennis Marunde, president of Arvidson Pools & Spas. “Our 4.6 Google rating from nearly 200 reviews across all of our stores says more than I ever could about our great Arvidson team!”

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) is an industry trade association with over 3,500 member companies, including swimming pool builders, pool service companies, retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

2019 Showroom Design by Watkins Wellness

Each January, hot tub retailers from around the world gather at the Caldera Spas national conference.  In addition to sharing industry and product updates, Watkins Wellness (makers of Caldera and Hot Spring Spas) present their picks for the best of the best.

Here’s what Steve Stigers, Vice President of Sales in North America, had to say when presenting the award:

We just completed major renovations to each of our three showrooms in the following ways:

• Changing the traffic patterns

• We upgraded our overall infrastructure within each location by adding:

  • All new LED lighting throughout the buildings

  • New energy efficient windows

  • New HVAC systems

  • Efficient plumbing fixtures in our beautiful customer restrooms

By doing this we improved the overall customer experience as well as reduced our carbon footprint.  A

As a result of our ongoing e-commerce activities, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our convenient “shop online; pickup in-store” service.

This serves to increase the ease and speed of our customers’ experience in our showrooms and continues to support the overall value that we offer our local client base. Customers using this service can easily identify their orders in a specially designed location within each of our stores.

Another upgrade includes new electronic signs. Passing traffic can see helpful messaging about promotions, store hours, and seasonal messages.  The signs make the stores easy to locate on busy thoroughfares.

Plus, they feature our friendly penguin mascot as an easily recognized symbol of the fun products that you find inside our stores!
