Crystal Lake, Illinois, is the largest city in McHenry County. It’s 50 miles northwest in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and 20 miles south of the Wisconsin border.
Crystal Lake is an hour and a half northwest of downtown Chicago. You can access it by car via the I-90 Expressway.
Two Metra stations located on the Union Pacific Northwest line also run to and from the city of Chicago.

Palatine, Illinois, is the seventh largest community in Cook County and is approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Palatine is about a one hour drive from Chicago and is located just east of Lake-Cook Road and Route 12 which is accessible via the I-90 or I-94 Expressways.

St. Charles, Illinois, is located in both Kane and DuPage counties and is located about 45 miles west of Chicago, Illinois. It is part of a tri-city district that includes the cities of Geneva and Batavia.
